Ellandi and ProjectDirt, in association with local newspaper Medway Messenger, have collaborated to launch The Pentagon Community Fund this month. The Pentagon Community Fund will offer up to £2,000 to community projects and social enterprises that have a positive social and/or environmental impact, and which are located in the local area of Chatham. The initiative unlocks the potential for the local community to access funds and achieve their goals. There is a total fund of £15,000 available, with each winning project being awarded an allocated sum of £2,000. It is hoped that the funding will kick start local community projects that can improve the neighbourhood. To take part in this fantastic opportunity, all applications need to be submitted during the period running from February 14th until midnight on March 12th.
ProjectDirt is a network connecting, promoting and resourcing active grassroots community projects across the UK. For further information about the funding scheme or to submit an application, please visit the designated page on their website.
