- Arches Local commissioned landscape architecture agency MeiLoci to produce a series of visual interpretations to represent how the Luton Arches may look in the future. The community group aspire to develop plans for the regeneration project involving; public realm improvements (resurfacing of pavements), soft landscaping works (planting poplar trees and other vibrant planting), enhancements to the railway structures (new LED strip lighting and possibly an art mural), and associated environmental works (cutting back overgrown mature vegetation to brighten up key areas). The historically important Driver Fountain will also be reinstalled in its original location as it was in 1898, and a large-scale sundial on the roundabout can feature as a gateway element.
